OUR TIMBER GRADING PROCESS
Before any of the timber we collect can be used in our frames, it has to be inspected by our expert carpenters. They pay very close attention to detail while checking it, in order to spot defects or weaknesses in the wood. Either of these can compromise the structure of a timber frame, and cannot be used in building. If any pieces are found with defects or weaknesses, we make sure to responsibly recycle them instead.
