Rigorous Quality Control Measures
Our fully qualified team members bring a wealth of experience to the table, having crafted frames for thousands of customers across the whole of the UK. Their extensive knowledge and skill ensure that the finest materials we have are expertly utilised, resulting in superior-quality products.
Moreover, our team is deeply committed to upholding 22 industry standards, carefully and consciously adhering to each one to guarantee stringent quality control at every stage of the process. This dedication to excellence extends beyond quality control, as we also prioritise the strict observance of health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and secure environment for both our team members and our customers.
Q-Mark Equivalency
Our quality assurance and control measures mean the products we offer are equivalent to the prestigious Q-Mark certification. This certification is awarded by TRADA, one of the strictest panels in the UK. The fact that we can meet this standard is proof of our dedication to quality, durability, and craftsmanship in every aspect of our work.
Premium-Grade Materials for Property Developers
Our commitment to excellence starts with sourcing the finest possible materials for manufacturing. This means the use of premium-grade green oak and Douglas-fir timber. Taken from a responsibly managed forested site in France, this timber is then shipped to our workshop, where it will be thoroughly inspected and graded by our professional timber graders. We will only use the wood if we are entirely satisfied with its aesthetic qualities and structural integrity.
Any wood which is not used at all will be returned to the mill it came from. If we find faults or flaws with the wood during the manufacturing process which would affect structural integrity, it will be recycled. If the faults are purely aesthetic, the pieces may be dried and used for pegs or other components which wonât be visible.
Our Workshop and Modern Machinery
We employ cutting-edge machinery to maintain exacting precision and uniformity in our craftsmanship. Within our workshop, advanced tools such as the 4-sided planer and the innovative Hundegger K2i are utilised to streamline production processes.
The 4-sided planer is integral to our workflow, meticulously cutting timber to precise dimensions. This initial step follows a thorough inspection by our timber graders, ensuring optimal quality before processing. Subsequently, the timber is readied for the next phase with the Hundegger K2i.
Operating from a 3D model, the Hundegger K2i ensures complete accuracy. Using laser technology, it meticulously aligns and cuts timber to exact specifications, eliminating any margin for error. This process guarantees consistent, flawless results, upholding our commitment to unparalleled quality assurance.
